Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and licensed Master Electrician to join our dynamic team as an Active License Master Electrician. In this vital role, you will lead electrical projects, ensure compliance with all safety standards and electrical codes, and oversee installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems across various commercial and industrial sites. Your expertise will help drive successful project execution, uphold quality standards, and maintain the highest levels of safety on every job site. PAYMENT: Per diem is available for 150.00 per day 7 days per week, 120.00 per hour with full time and half on hours worked past 40 in one week. Mobilization and demobilization are availble at 0.72 cents per mile
Duties
- Lead and supervise electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance on commercial and industrial construction sites.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to execute projects accurately.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment such as ohmmeters and low voltage testers to complete electrical tasks efficiently.
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair programmable logic controllers (PLCs), high voltage, low voltage systems, and schematics.
- Ensure all work complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC), local regulations, and safety standards.
- Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and team members to meet project timelines and quality expectations.
- Conduct inspections using schematics and blueprints to verify proper wiring, connections, and system functionality.
- Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, including incident reports and compliance records.
Skills
- Extensive experience with industrial electrician tasks including PLCs, schematics reading, and high/low voltage systems.
- Proven commercial electrician experience with construction site familiarity.
- Strong knowledge of the NEC (National Electrical Code) standards for safe electrical practices.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, low voltage testers, and other electrical testing equipment.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately for installation or troubleshooting purposes.
- Experience working on renovation projects within commercial or industrial environments.
- Solid understanding of electrical theory combined with practical construction site experience.
- Ability to work safely at heights or in confined spaces while adhering to safety protocols.
