Fire Sprinkler Technician – Deficiency Repair & New Construction (1099)

Flame Shield Systems is a growing fire protection contractor serving commercial properties across Brevard County. We’re looking for an experienced fire sprinkler technician to join our team as an independent contractor.
What You’ll Be Doing
∙ Performing deficiency repairs on existing fire sprinkler systems (replacing heads, fittings, gauges, hangers, and other components)
∙ New construction rough-in and trim work on commercial properties
∙ Working independently in the field with clear direction from our operations team
∙ Documenting work completed accurately and professionally
What We’re Looking For
∙ Hands-on experience with wet, dry, and/or pre-action fire sprinkler systems
∙ Ability to read and interpret sprinkler drawings and specifications
∙ Reliable, professional, and able to work independently
∙ Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
∙ NICET certification a plus, but not required — experience speaks for itself
The Details
∙ 1099 independent contractor
∙ $30–$38/hr depending on experience
∙ Brevard County area — local candidates strongly preferred
∙ Flexible scheduling with consistent work as our project pipeline grows
Pay: $24.76 - $29.82 per hour
