HM Staffing is seeking a skilled PIPE WELDER. The ideal candidate will have experience welding various types of piping systems using TIG, MIG, and Stick welding processes. This position requires the ability to read blueprints, work safely, and maintain high-quality weld standards in industrial or commercial environments. Pipe welders are commonly expected to weld, assemble, and fabricate piping systems according to project specifications.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding specifications
- Weld carbon steel, stainless steel, and other pipe materials
- Perform TIG, MIG, Stick, or Flux Core welding as required
- Cut, fit, align, and assemble piping systems and components
- Inspect completed welds to ensure quality and safety standards
- Operate grinders, torches, and other welding equipment
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Follow OSHA and company safety procedures
Qualifications
- Minimum [1–3+] years of pipe welding experience preferred
- Ability to pass welding certification tests (6G preferred)
- Knowledge of pipe fitting and fabrication
- Ability to read measuring tools and blueprints accurately
- Strong attention to detail and workmanship
- Reliable transportation and strong work ethic
- High school diploma or GED preferred
Pay: Up to $35.00 per hour
