Delight Restaurant Group is seeking a skilled Facilities Technician to support the operation and maintenance of our Wendy's restaurant locations throughout Virginia.
- This role is ideal for an experienced technician who enjoys working independently, solving mechanical issues, and helping keep restaurants operating safely and efficiently.
As a member of our Facilities team, you'll travel to multiple restaurant locations performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting equipment, and completing repairs on critical restaurant systems. We provide a company vehicle, professional tools, and the support you need to be successful.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance at Wendy's restaurant locations throughout Virginia.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial kitchen equipment and facility systems.
- Service commercial HVAC and refrigeration equipment.
- Complete plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, painting, and general building repairs.
- Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests and equipment failures.
- Maintain detailed service records and communicate repair updates with management.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with company standards.
- Work independently while managing daily service routes and maintenance priorities.
- Travel throughout Virginia to support restaurant maintenance needs.
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant or quick-service restaurant (QSR) maintenance experience is preferred.
- Current EPA HVAC/Refrigeration Certification is required.
- Strong experience repairing commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems.
- Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general building maintenance.
- Ability to diagnose problems and complete repairs with minimal supervision.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical work in various environments.
- Willingness to travel throughout the Virginia market.
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check
Pay
- Starting Pay: $25.00–$40.00 per hour, based on experience and certifications.
