HVAC Construction Foreman Qualifications:

4+ years of experience in HVAC installation and repair, with a minimum of 3 years in a supervisory role required
HVAC/R certification or licensing as required by the state or region required
Proficient understanding of HVAC systems, blueprints, and design specifications required
Strong leadership and team management skills required
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal required
Capable of lifting heavy equipment and materials up to 50 pounds required

HVAC Construction Foreman Responsibilities:

Responsible for overseeing and leading a team of HVAC technicians and installers on various construction projects
This role is crucial in ensuring that HVAC systems are installed efficiently, safely, to budget, and according to building codes and design specifications
The foreman acts as the primary point of contact between crew members, general contractor, project trade partners, and project management, ensuring that project deadlines and quality standards are met
Oversee the installation, repair, and maintenance of HVAC systems, including ductwork, piping, and refrigeration components
Maintain accurate records and logs of daily work activities and project milestones
Monitor project progress and adjust schedules as necessary to meet deadlines
