Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance operations within our facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial maintenance and project management, ensuring that all equipment and systems are functioning optimally. This role requires excellent leadership skills to manage a team of maintenance technicians while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the maintenance team, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules for equipment and facilities to minimize downtime.
- Conduct regular inspections of machinery and systems to identify potential issues and perform necessary repairs.
- Utilize tools such as voltmeters, ohmmeters, and schematics to troubleshoot electrical problems.
- Manage projects related to facility upgrades, equipment installations, and system improvements.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and inventory management.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies in all maintenance operations.
- Train and mentor maintenance staff on best practices in industrial maintenance and equipment operation.
- Manage all Maintenance aspects of assigned properties
Skills
- Proven work experience as Supervisor of Maintenance.
- 5 years experience Minimum commercial and apartment Maintenance
- In depth knowledge of all rules and regulations surrounding Maintenance
- Competency in MS Office and relevant databases and software
- Interpersonal savvy with strong communication and presentation skills
- Well organized with excellent time management skills
- Be able to go up the ladder for roof inspection if required
- Real estate agent with active license is a plus
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds
- Be able to conduct property inspections
- Strong Mathematical Skills.
- HVAC Certified with at lease 5 years experience with AC
- Knowledge of Commercial and residential Maintenance aspects
- BE able to manage difficult or challenging situations with a mindset to resolve or de-escalate.
- This is a 8-5 Position with no overtime available.
- Travel to properties throughout Dallas Ft worth and travel to other properties out of state possible. Once a year for travel out of state.
- Design Projects for assigned properties that suit owners needs or be able to follow owners direction of project for the specific property.
- Inspect and arrange maintenance to meet standards
- Maintain a positive, productive relationship with tenants
- Negotiate lease/contracts with contractors in a timely and reliable manner
- Oversee/Help maintenance/contractor personnel and assess performance
- Be able to travel as needed
- Supervise all aspects of remodeling and construction and manage multiple crews.
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within an industrial or manufacturing environment is required.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, low voltage applications, and logic controllers is essential.
- Experience with project management techniques to effectively lead maintenance initiatives.
- Familiarity with industrial maintenance practices, including preventive and corrective maintenance strategies.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools such as voltmeters and ohmmeters to assess equipment performance.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to read and interpret schematics for troubleshooting purposes.
