Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Fire Sprinkler Technician & Inspector to join our dynamic team. This role is vital in ensuring the safety and compliance of fire protection systems across various construction and manufacturing sites. As a Fire Sprinkler Technician & Inspector, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, inspecting, and repairing fire sprinkler systems in accordance with industry standards and local codes. Your expertise will help protect lives and property by ensuring fire suppression systems operate flawlessly when needed. Duties
- Install, assemble, and modify fire sprinkler systems using hand tools, power tools, welding techniques such as MIG, FCAW, TIG welding, and soldering to ensure precise fitting and secure connections
- Inspect existing fire sprinkler systems for compliance with safety standards, schematics, blueprints, and ASME codes & standards
- Conduct routine maintenance and testing of fire suppression systems to guarantee optimal performance
- Read and interpret complex schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings related to fire sprinkler fitting and piping layouts
- Use calipers, pipe threading tools, tube bending equipment, and rigging techniques to assemble piping networks in accordance with project specifications
- Perform welding tasks involving welding techniques as required for system modifications or repairs
- Document inspection results, maintenance activities, and system modifications accurately in logs and reports
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols on construction sites or manufacturing facilities while working with HVAC components, plumbing systems, or pipeline assemblies
Qualifications
- Proven experience in fire sprinkler fitting, inspection, or related construction roles with a strong mechanical knowledge base
- Ability to read schematics, blueprints, technical drawings, and ASME codes & standards confidently
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, calipers, tube benders, and rigging gear
- Experience working on construction sites or manufacturing environments with a focus on safety compliance
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot system issues efficiently
- Valid NICET certifications in fire sprinkler fitting are preferred but not mandatory; willingness to obtain necessary certifications is a plus

Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
