Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Crane Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating cranes and other heavy equipment to lift, move, and position materials and equipment on construction sites. This role requires a strong understanding of safety protocols and the ability to work in various environments while ensuring efficient operations.
Duties
- Operate cranes and heavy equipment to perform lifting and moving tasks.
- Conduct pre-operation inspections on equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
- Collaborate with site managers and other crew members to coordinate lifting operations.
- Follow all safety guidelines and regulations while operating heavy machinery.
- Maintain accurate records of operations, including daily logs of equipment usage and maintenance.
- Perform routine maintenance on cranes and heavy equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Skills
- Proficient in heavy equipment operation, particularly cranes.
- Strong understanding of commercial driving regulations and practices.
- Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork on-site.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety protocols.
