Good Shepherd Fence Company, LLC. is looking for one AMAZING team member looking to join Team GSFC has a Gate Welder/Fabricator! This full-time hourly paid, overtime eligible (+ bonus) position will work under the direction of the Production and Operations Manager. This individual will be responsible for the gate production and fabrication projects as well as other duties assigned.
As one of Indiana's FASTEST growing fence contractor - we are currently looking to expand our team and are hiring an individual who possesses a good work ethic and desires long term successful career! The ideal candidate will have experience in various forms of welding as well as a general knowledge of layouts and drawings and use of hand and power tools.

· Work Experience Related experience in tube and pipe fabrication (Preferred)
· Education High school or equivalent Vocational training is a huge plus Job

· Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, drawings and specifications Use precision measuring instruments
· Operate hand tools and other shop equipment such as grinders, positioners etc.
· Perform lay out, fit-up and assembly of each task
· Weld multiple materials utilizing numerous weld processes
· Monitor and maintain proper cleanliness of machines and work area
· Experience:
· Shop Welding 1 Year (Preferred)
· Construction: 1 year (Preferred)
Requirements:
- Willingness to have fun and make history!
- Must have a valid driver’s license*
- Prior fence building, construction, or welder/fabricator experience preferred.*
- Must Pass Welding Test
- Mig and Tig Steel Needed
- Aluminum Welding Needed - Willing to train ***
- Proven experience working as a welder/fabricator.
- Working knowledge of power tools, construction tools, and equipment.
- The ability to interpret job bids and determine necessary: tools, supplies, and equipment needed.
- Regularly required to move around, use hands, use feet to walk, stand for long periods of time, and push/pull/lift/move up to 75+ pounds unassisted.
- Outstanding leadership skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Preferred CPR and basic first aid certifications.
