Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technician specializing in Refrigeration to join our maintenance team. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining HVAC systems and refrigeration equipment across various properties. Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, and ventilation equipment using schematics and HVAC design plans.
- Service refrigeration systems such as ammonia refrigeration units and other commercial refrigeration equipment to ensure proper operation.
- Read and interpret technical schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings to diagnose issues accurately.
- Perform plumbing tasks related to HVAC systems, including pipe fitting, leak detection, and component replacement.
- Conduct routine maintenance on heating and cooling equipment to prevent failures and extend system lifespan.
- Utilize tools such as ohmmeters for electrical testing and welding equipment for repairs when necessary.
- Maintain detailed service records, complete shift reports, incident logs, and documentation of repairs performed.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an HVAC technician or service technician with a strong background in refrigeration systems.
- Mechanical knowledge of HVAC/R systems including air conditioning units, boilers, pumps, and ammonia refrigeration units.
- Ability to read schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC design plans effectively.
- Skilled in plumbing work related to property maintenance and HVAC systems.
- Familiarity with field service operations and appliance repair techniques.
- Experience with equipment repair using welding tools and troubleshooting electrical components with ohmmeters.
- Knowledge of construction practices related to HVAC installation projects.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating a driver vehicle is preferred.

Pay: $30.65 - $36.91 per hour
