We are seeking a highly experienced and proactive Project Manager to lead and manage rig decommissioning (decom) and re-commissioning (recom) projects, as well as oversee project sites, yards, and personnel. Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate rig decom and recommission projects from planning through execution, ensuring alignment with project scope, schedule, and safety standards.
Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources, utilizing industry-standard project management tools such as Primavera P6, MS Project, or equivalent.
Oversee the management of project sites, including offshore rigs, yards, and logistical hubs, ensuring operational efficiency and compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
Supervise and coordinate site personnel, contractors, and vendors, fostering effective communication and teamwork across multidisciplinary offshore teams.
Monitor and control project costs, perform risk assessments, and implement mitigation strategies to keep projects within financial targets.
Ensure all offshore activities adhere to safety protocols, industry standards, and legal requirements, promoting a strong safety culture.
Read and interpret technical documentation, including marine schematics, blueprints, and schematics, such as Civil 3D files, to guide project execution and troubleshooting.
Coordinate with marine and offshore service providers, clients, regulatory authorities, and internal teams to facilitate seamless operations and decision-making.
Utilize project management and document control software such as ProCore, HeavyBid, or equivalent to monitor progress, track documentation, and prepare reports.
Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, quality standards, and environmental regulations throughout project lifecycle.
Requirements
· Extensive experience in offshore, marine, or oil & gas industry project management, specifically related to rig decommissioning and re-commissioning.
· Strong marine and offshore technical knowledge, including offshore rig operations, marine schematics, and subsea systems.
· Proven ability to manage complex projects involving offshore platforms, yards, and logistics hubs, with a focus on safety, quality, and operational efficiency.
· Proficiency with project management tools such as Primavera P6, MS Project, Civil 3D, HeavyBid, or ProCore.
· Solid understanding of offshore safety protocols, environmental regulations, and quality assurance procedures.
· Excellent leadership and personnel management skills, capable of supervising diverse teams and subcontractors in offshore and yard environments.
· Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and engineering documentation relevant to marine and offshore operations.
· Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively under tight schedules.
· Exceptional communication skills for engaging with clients, regulatory agencies, contractors, and internal teams.

Pay: $70,206.55 - $84,549.84 per year
