Job Details:
We are seeking Licensed Fire Alarm Technician to join our client's team. The role for this position will be wiring, programming, testing, inspection, troubleshooting, and repair of fire alarm systems in accordance with NFPA standards, local codes, and project specifications. This position requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team while ensuring all systems are installed safely, accurately, and fully operational.
Responsibilities:
- Install fire alarm wiring in accordance with NFPA standards.
- Perform physical job duties including lifting, repetitive motions, using hand and power tools, and working in all types of weather conditions.
- Connect and install fire alarm panels, power supplies, and concealed wiring.
- Complete all wiring, connections, and equipment installations to ensure systems are fully operational and meet contract requirements.
- Install all required fire alarm devices.
- Troubleshoot fire alarm system installations to verify proper operation and compliance with local, county, state, and federal codes, as well as any applicable licensing and insurance requirements.
- Complete miscellaneous tasks as assigned by the manager.
- Conduct Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) and complete daily reports.
Requirements:
- Texas Fire Alarm License (FAL) REQUIRED
- Able to install and service many different fire alarm manufacturers.
- High School Diploma or commensurate experience
- Two years’ experience in the installation of fire alarm Systems preferred.
- PC Proficient
- Valid Driver’s License
- Must be able to pass drug and background screens.
Pay: $30.00 - $38.00 per hour
License/Certification:
- Fire Alarm License (Required)
