HVAC Centrifugal Chiller Technician
Location: Dallas, TX
Employment Type: Full-Time | Commercial/Industrial Service
Pay Rate: Up to $60/hour (Based on Experience)

CCS Construction Staffing is seeking an experienced HVAC Centrifugal Chiller Technician for service and maintenance work in the Dallas, TX area. This position is ideal for a highly skilled HVAC professional with extensive experience working on large commercial and industrial chilled water systems, including centrifugal chillers.

Position Overview:
The HVAC Centrifugal Chiller Technician will be responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, repairing, and servicing centrifugal chillers and associated HVAC systems. Candidates must be capable of working independently, diagnosing complex mechanical and electrical issues, and communicating professionally with customers, facility personnel, and project teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain centrifugal chillers and chilled water systems
Diagnose complex mechanical, electrical, refrigeration, and controls-related issues
Perform preventative maintenance and system inspections
Service pumps, cooling towers, hydronic systems, and associated HVAC equipment
Analyze system performance and recommend corrective actions
Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals
Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to customers and site personnel
Complete service documentation and reports accurately and timely
Maintain a professional and safety-focused presence at all customer locations

Requirements:

Extensive experience servicing and troubleshooting centrifugal chillers
Strong understanding of refrigeration cycles, hydronic systems, HVAC controls, and commercial HVAC equipment
Ability to diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical issues independently
Experience working in commercial and industrial facilities
Strong communication and customer service skills
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Ability to work safely and professionally in occupied facilities and active jobsite environments

PPE Requirements:
Candidates must arrive with standard construction PPE, including:

Hard hat or safety helmet
Safety glasses
High-visibility vest or shirt
Work gloves
Long pants
Sleeved shirt
Work boots

Steel-toe or composite-toe boots, hearing protection, and additional task-specific PPE may be required based on customer and site requirements.
