We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician with HVAC expertise to join our Team! This position will perform maintenance on repair on all Heating and Cooling systems in the Seabury buildings. As needed will perform other facilities duties of repair. Works with facilities management staff to perform larger projects as needed. Position requires in depth knowledge of facility and its maintenance needs.
Hours: Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:00pm
Responsibilities:
1. Identify and perform preventive maintenance.
2. HVAC quality control, repair and maintenance.
3. Makes necessary repairs of equipment, fixtures, carpentry, and/or furniture.
4. May be required to work in cramped areas.
5. Required to perform “on-call” duties and be available for emergency situations.
6. General maintenance and grounds duties as needed.
7. Maintains confidentiality and utilizes appropriate channels of communication for sharing information.
8. Notifies Environmental VP of problems and complaints in a timely manner.
9. Follows procedures of Environmental Services Department.
10. Demonstrates and promotes consideration and respect for residents and staff.
11. Conveys a professional, caring image.
12. Supports the mission and philosophy of the facility.
Requirements
- Licensed HVAC technician
- High School graduate or equivalent with 5-10 years' experience in building or trades fields
- Knowledge of DPH regulations
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $36.00 - $40.00 per hour
