Job Title: Sheet Metal fabricator
Pay Rate: $19.32 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Metal Fabricator to join our team. This position focuses on sheet metal ductwork fabrication in a shop environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with sheet metal and performing basic welding tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Fabricate sheet metal ductwork according to specifications
- Perform tack welding as required
- Read and follow shop drawings and work orders
- Measure, cut, bend, and assemble metal components
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment safely
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
Requirements:
- Experience with sheet metal fabrication (ductwork required)
- Ability to perform tack welds
- Basic knowledge of fabrication tools and equipment
- Ability to read measurements and blueprints
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
Work Environment:
- Shop-based fabrication setting
- Standing, lifting, and working with metal materials required
Pay & Schedule:
- $16.57/hour
- Full-time, daytime shift (7:30 AM – 4:00 PM) some overtime
