Press Brake Operator – Dosco Sheet Metal (Millbury, MA)
Dosco Sheet Metal is a small, established metal fabrication job shop with 35 years in business. We’re looking for a skilled individual who can thrive in a fast‑paced job shop environment. Responsibilities
- Set up and operate Amada and Accurpress press brakes to form complex sheet metal components.
- Produce high‑quality parts with minimal error.
- Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate fabrication.
- Inspect and measure parts using tape measures, digital calipers, and other precision tools.
- Maintain consistent attendance and be available for overtime when required.
- Keep a clean, safe work area and follow all safety procedures, including proper PPE use.
- Perform additional fabrication tasks as needed, including shearing, drilling, tapping, deburring, and polishing of carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of press brake operating experience.
- Strong blueprint reading skills.
- Solid mechanical aptitude and basic computer knowledge.
- Strong math skills, including fractions and decimals.
- Self‑starter with excellent attention to detail and reliable communication skills.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to regularly lift, push, pull, and move up to 50 lbs.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $29.00 per hour
