Master or Journeyman Electrician – Renewable Energy | Maine

Sundog Solar is looking for a skilled, motivated Master or Journeyman Electrician who wants more than just another construction job.

We're a locally owned renewable energy company with a 35-person team that has been designing and installing solar energy systems across Maine since 2009. Our work includes residential and commercial solar, off-grid systems, battery storage, heat pumps, and EV charging infrastructure.

We're growing steadily and looking for electricians who take pride in quality work, enjoy solving problems, and want to grow with a company that values craftsmanship, teamwork, and professionalism.

If you're looking for a place where your experience matters, your voice is heard, and your career can advance into leadership, project management, system design, or specialized renewable energy work — we'd like to talk.

This position requires current Maine residency. We are not able to consider out-of-state or relocating candidates at this time.

Maintaining a safe, organized, and professional job site

What Success Looks Like

Success in this role means becoming a reliable leader on the job site who produces clean, code-compliant work, helps projects run efficiently, and contributes positively to the team culture. The right person will take ownership of their work, communicate well with crews and customers, continue building renewable energy expertise, and grow into a trusted long-term member of the company.
