Plumber Journeyman

Location: Boston, MA
Pay: $55.00 - $65.00 hr. (based on experience)

Staffworks Group is seeking an experienced Journeyman Plumber to join our growing team in the Boston area. The ideal candidate will have experience servicing both residential and commercial plumbing and hydronic heating systems. This role is responsible for performing plumbing installations, repairs, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and heating system service while delivering exceptional customer service and quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform plumbing installations, repairs, and preventive maintenance for residential and commercial properties.
Diagnoses, troubleshoot, and repair plumbing systems, fixtures, piping, and related equipment.
Service, maintain, and repair boilers, hydronic heating systems, circulator pumps, expansion tanks, zone valves, and associated heating components.
Conduct seasonal boiler tune-ups and preventative maintenance inspections.
Inspect plumbing and heating systems to identify potential issues and recommend appropriate repairs.
Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical drawings.
Install and replace plumbing fixtures, water heaters, piping systems, and heating equipment.
Ensure all work complies with Massachusetts plumbing codes, local regulations, and company safety standards.

Qualifications:

Valid Massachusetts Journeyman or Master Plumber License required.
Minimum of 3 years of plumbing experience, including hands-on experience servicing, troubleshooting, and repairing boilers and hydronic heating systems.
