Manufacturing & Assembly Opportunities Location: San Diego, CA (92121)

Pay Rate: $18.27/hr – $20.10/hr

Available Shifts: 1st Shift (6:00 AM – 2:30 PM) | 2nd Shift (2:30 PM – 11:30 PM)

Role Overview: Mechanical Assembler

Performs a variety of operations to assemble mechanical components, sub-assemblies, and sheet metal enclosures. Works on complex assignments requiring judgment to resolve problems and follows established sequence of operations for hand soldering, wire harnessing, and cabling.

Principal Duties:

Works with assembly prints, wiring diagrams, and schematics to assemble drawers, chassis, enclosures, and racks.
Determines and follows methods for hand soldering, wire-wrapping, wire harnessing, and cabling on assembly units.
Performs routine go/no-go tests of circuits, components, instruments, and mechanical assemblies.
Sets up test devices using hand tools or automatic test methods and documents test results.
Maintains logs and records denoting malfunctions and performs repair work as necessary.

Requirements & Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent.
6+ months of production experience with vocational experience in mechanical assembly.
Ability to read and work from established schematics, wiring diagrams, and assembly drawings.
Hands-on experience in hand soldering, wire-wrapping, and cable harnessing.
Strong component polarity knowledge and familiarity with IPC-610 / ESD standards.
Proficiency with hand tools, testing equipment, and basic arithmetic.

1. 1st Shift: 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM ($18.27 per hour)

2. 2nd Shift: 2:30 PM to 11:30 PM ($20.10 per hour)
