Duties

Perform automotive structural repairs, including frame straightening and sheet metal work, utilizing MIG welding, soldering, and fabrication repair techniques.
Conduct auto body repairs such as dent removal, panel replacement, auto painting, sanding, and automotive cosmetic repairs to restore vehicles to pristine condition.
Use automotive welding equipment and power tools to execute welding repair tasks with precision and safety.
Install automotive parts including auto glass, bumpers, trim, and other components with attention to detail and quality standards.
Prepare vehicles for auto restoration projects by performing sanding, detailing, auto refinishing, and applying airless paint spraying techniques.
Utilize auto estimating software to assess damages accurately and determine necessary repairs; communicate effectively with team members regarding repair processes.
Handle heavy lifting safely during parts installation or structural repairs while adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Qualifications

Proven experience working as an automotive body technician within a dealership or collision repair environment.
Proficiency in MIG welding, soldering, fabrication repair techniques, and automotive welding equipment operation.
Strong mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems, parts installation, auto maintenance, and auto restoration processes.
Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, sanding tools, and automotive cosmetic repair equipment.
Familiarity with auto estimating software and automotive parts inventory management is a plus.
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining high-quality standards.
Excellent attention to detail with a passion for delivering outstanding auto body repair results.
