Overview
We are seeking skilled and motivated foreman to join our dynamic construction team. In this vital role, you will bring craftsmanship and precision to a variety of projects, from residential remodels to commercial builds. Your expertise will help transform blueprints into reality, ensuring high-quality results that meet safety standards and client expectations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, develop your skills across multiple carpentry disciplines, and contribute to the creation of functional, durable structures.
Duties
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute project plans.
- Measure, cut, assemble, and install a wide range of building components using hand tools and power tools.
- Perform framing tasks including metal stud framing, wood framing, and concrete forming to create structural frameworks.
- Install fixtures such as doors, cabinets, siding, trim carpentry, and flooring with precision.
- Conduct restoration work including water damage remediation, plastering, stucco application, and mold remediation.
- Assist with roofing installation, rebar placement for concrete projects, and masonry work as needed.
- Collaborate with team members on heavy lifting tasks and ensure safety protocols are followed at all times.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction estimating, blueprint reading, and various carpentry disciplines such as trim carpentry and frame carpentry.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, CNC machinery, and fabrication equipment.
- Strong knowledge of construction site safety procedures and experience working on active construction sites.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
- Familiarity with schematics for fixture installation, electrical experience, plumbing systems, masonry techniques, and roofing methods.
- Experience in remodeling projects or restoration industry work is highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt quickly to project changes or unforeseen challenges.
