Summary / Objective
The Project Manager oversees jobs from contract award through installation and closeout. This role ensures projects are delivered and installed correctly, on time, and within budget. Serving as the primary customer contact, the Project Manager is responsible for providing exceptional service and maintaining clear communication throughout the project. Managing multiple projects in various phases, the Project Manager tracks progress, ensures compliance, and drives overall project success.
Essential Job Functions
- Manage multiple projects from order to installation, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
- Drive internal and external coordination to maintain project momentum and resolve issues proactively.
- Oversee procurement, fabrication, and delivery of materials and equipment.
- Serve as the primary client contact, providing exceptional service and clear communication throughout.
- Lead preconstruction meetings, site inspections, and installation planning.
- Coordinate design changes and collaborate with teams to implement solutions.
- Review and prepare project drawings, including as-built documentation using design software.
- Support and uphold safety protocols, including project-specific hazard assessments.
- Project Leadership: Lead the planning, execution, and closeout of construction projects for clients, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
- Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong client partnerships to deliver exceptional customer experience and expand long-term business opportunities.
- Project Execution: Implement structured project delivery strategies that optimize scheduling, resource allocation, and operational efficiency.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Build and maintain productive relationships with clients, subcontractors, internal departments, and external partners to ensure project success.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Engineering, Supply Chain, Production, and Field Operations to meet scope, schedule, quality, and safety objectives.
- Risk Management: Identify project risks early and implement mitigation plans to protect budget, schedule, and quality commitments.
- Financial Oversight: Manage project budgets, monitor cost performance, maintain accurate revenue projections, and coordinate invoicing with Finance.
- Performance Monitoring: Track key performance indicators and leverage data-driven insights to drive continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, project management, or related field
- Minimum 5 year of project management or related experience
- Strong leadership, decision-making, and team management skills
- Proven ability to drive processes and deliver results
- Excellent multitasking, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and AutoCAD
- Budget-conscious with strong cost management skills
- Detail-oriented, customer-focused, and self-motivated
- Positive attitude and collaborative team player
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in business, engineering, project management, or related field
- 5 years of construction-related project management experience
- Proficient with budget management software, ERP systems, and scheduling tools
- Skilled in reading blueprints, plans, and technical details
- Knowledge of AISC steel construction, foundations, and Hilti anchoring systems
- Background in field construction methods and practices
- Experience with AutoCAD and team management
- Familiarity with OSHA and ANSI fall protection standards

Physical Requirements
This is primarily a sedentary position, requiring prolonged periods of sitting at a desk or computer—up to 8 hours per day. Regular duties include reading, writing, and performing basic calculations to complete necessary documentation. The role requires manual dexterity to operate a keyboard, phone, and standard office equipment. Occasional walking, bending, reaching, and standing may also be required.
Work Schedule
This is a full-time position. Standard days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with a 1-hour lunch as scheduled with management. This position may require hours beyond the standard working hours listed above to satisfy job duties and department demand.
