Job Summary

We are on the lookout for a skilled and proactive Restaurant Equipment Technician to join our maintenance team. Duties

Diagnose and repair a wide range of restaurant equipment including refrigeration units, kitchen appliances, HVAC systems, and mechanical systems.
Install new appliances and equipment following schematics and technical specifications to ensure proper setup and operation.
Perform routine maintenance on HVAC/R systems, refrigeration units, air conditioning, and other mechanical systems to prevent breakdowns.
Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams to troubleshoot issues effectively.
Conduct inspections to identify potential problems early and recommend necessary repairs or upgrades.
Operate company vehicles safely for on-site repairs or equipment deliveries as needed.
Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with staff about repairs, maintenance schedules, and system performance.

Requirements

Proven experience as a service technician specializing in appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, or mechanical systems repair.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex equipment issues efficiently.
Experience with appliance installation, maintenance, and repair in a commercial kitchen environment.
Familiarity with schematics, wiring diagrams, HVAC & appliance technology is essential.
Knowledge of refrigeration systems, air conditioning units, and HVAC system repair techniques.
Ability to operate maintenance tools safely and effectively; experience with MRO (maintenance, repair & operations) practices is a plus.
Construction experience or background in mechanical systems repair is advantageous.
Excellent customer service skills with a professional approach to client interactions.
Valid driver’s license with experience operating company vehicles safely.
