Job Summary:
Responsible for fabricating and assembling sheet metal components according to blueprints, drawings, and specifications. Duties may include measuring, cutting, bending, forming, drilling, and fitting metal using hand and power tools. The ideal candidate should have strong attention to detail and experience working safely with sheet metal and fabrication equipment. Long term opportunity.
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders to determine fabrication requirements.
- Measure, cut, bend, form, and shape sheet metal to specified dimensions and tolerances.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently.
- Assemble and fit sheet metal components using welding, fastening, or other fabrication methods.
- Inspect finished products for accuracy, quality, and proper fit while maintaining a clean and safe work area.
Qualifications:
- One year experience in sheet metal fabrication.
- Knowledge and use of measuring equipment.
- Ability to operate a multi-axis CNC press brake.
- Must be able to perform basic math.
- Must be able to function well in a fast-paced work environment.
- Must be able to lift, push, and pull up to 50lbs.
