Due to our continued growth, we are searching for a Press Brake Operator to join our growing team.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Receives instructions, prints, and work orders for the job.
- Plans details of working procedure and tooling requirements.
- Sets up Press Brake with appropriate tooling for the part to be formed.
- Keeps equipment and work area clean and orderly.
Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to operate multi-axis CNC press brakes (familiar with Cincinnati Inc. press brakes is a plus)
- Knowledge of material forming fundamentals, die selection and measuring equipment (micrometers, dial calipers, squares, etc.)
- Use and be familiar with basic hand tools and measuring tools
- Must be able to read, follow and understand blueprints, methods, procedural instructions and interpret visual aids
- Must be able to perform basic math
Minimum Requirements:
- One year experience in a sheet metal fabrication operation
- Knowledge and use of measuring equipment (rulers, micrometers, dial calipers, squares)
- Abillty to accurately and efficiently complete all required tasks and documentation
- Must be able to function well in a fast paced work environment and deal with a variety of work situations
- Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers
- Follow safety and housekeeping guidelines
Essential Physical Functions:
- The employee is required to stand and walk
- Must be able to lift, push and pull up to 50 lbs. unassisted repetitiously and consistently.
- Work involves considerable stooping, bending, lifting and working overhead in semi-climate controlled factory setting
- Work involves varying degrees of precision and control where damage could be considerable
- Work performed in a fast paced, shop environment
