Responsibilities:

- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in accordance with local and national electrical codes

- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to determine the layout of electrical systems

- Test electrical systems and components to ensure proper functioning and identify any issues or malfunctions

- Troubleshoot electrical problems and perform necessary repairs or replacements

- Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as plumbers and carpenters, to complete projects requiring multiple skill sets

- Follow safety protocols and adhere to all relevant regulations to ensure a safe working environment

- Provide guidance and mentorship to apprentices as needed

Experience:

- Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and other relevant regulations

- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams

- Skilled in troubleshooting electrical systems and performing repairs or replacements as needed

- Familiarity with hand tools and equipment commonly used in the electrical trade

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

- Strong customer relationship and communication skills

- Emphasis on organization and cleanliness

Pay: $31.00 - $40.00 per hour
