Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Industrial Construction Senior Project Manager to oversee and manage PM subordinates handling multiple construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and a comprehensive understanding of construction processes. This role requires a proactive approach to project management, ensuring that all aspects of our projects are executed efficiently and effectively.

Duties

Lead and manage all PM's on our construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project specifications are met.
Develop detailed project schedules using construction management software such as Microsoft PM and ProCore.
Oversee project estimating and budgeting processes to ensure accurate financial management.
Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, address issues, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Review blueprints, schematics, and contracts to understand project requirements.
Manage project documentation including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.
Facilitate communication between team members to ensure smooth project coordination.
Implement effective time management strategies to optimize productivity on the job site.

Skills

Proficient in construction management software including ProCore, Bluebeam, and others.
Strong knowledge of construction estimating techniques and practices.
Experience with project scheduling and coordination in a construction environment.
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
Solid understanding of contracts related to construction projects.
Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Strong leadership qualities with experience in managing teams on construction sites.
Familiarity with civil engineering principles is a plus.
