About the Role:
The Journeyman Electrician plays a critical role in the construction industry by installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. Minimum Qualifications:
- Valid Journeyman Electrician license or certification as required by the state of employment.
- Completion of an accredited electrical apprenticeship program or equivalent work experience.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local electrical codes.
- Proven ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong understanding of electrical safety standards and practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with advanced electrical systems such as programmable logic controllers (PLCs) or renewable energy installations.
- Additional certifications such as OSHA 10/30 or First Aid/CPR training.
- Familiarity with electrical estimating and project management software.
- Prior experience in commercial or industrial construction environments.
- Demonstrated leadership skills or experience mentoring apprentice electricians.
Responsibilities:
