Overview
Join our dynamic manufacturing team as an Injection Mold Maintenance Technician! In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing injection molding equipment to ensure optimal production efficiency and quality. Your expertise in industrial mechanics, electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and welding will keep our manufacturing processes running smoothly. Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on injection molding machines and related equipment to minimize downtime.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic issues using schematics, blueprints, and diagnostic tools such as voltmeters, ammeters, ohmmeters, and precision measuring instruments.
- Repair or replace defective components including motors, sensors, valves, switches, and wiring to restore equipment functionality swiftly.
- Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to document work orders, maintenance history, and parts inventory accurately.
- Read electrical blueprints and schematics to diagnose complex electrical systems and implement effective repairs.
- Conduct equipment troubleshooting using engineering principles and diagnostics to identify root causes of failures.
- Operate field service tools such as scissor lifts safely for access to high or hard-to-reach machinery components.
- Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols related to high voltage systems (up to 600V), welding (stick welding), HVAC/R systems, and industrial maintenance standards.
- Assist in the installation of new equipment and upgrades following engineering specifications and schematics.
- Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime during changeovers or equipment adjustments while providing excellent customer service internally.
Skills
- Extensive experience working within manufacturing facilities with a strong understanding of industrial maintenance practices.
- Proficiency with CMMS software for maintenance tracking and reporting.
- Solid knowledge of electrical diagnostics, troubleshooting electrical systems including low voltage (below 600V) and high voltage applications.
- Hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), industrial electrician tasks, and engineering troubleshooting techniques.
- Skilled in mechanical repair including welding (stick welding), hydraulic systems, pneumatics, schematics reading, and equipment repair.
- Ability to operate diagnostic tools such as voltmeters, ammeters, ohmmeters, and precision measuring instruments accurately.
- Knowledge of HVAC/R systems relevant to manufacturing environments; certification in HVAC/R is a plus.
- Ability to read electrical blueprints and schematics confidently for troubleshooting complex systems.
- Strong analysis skills for diagnosing issues quickly and implementing effective solutions in a field service capacity.
- Valid certifications for scissor lift operation; experience with industrial electrician tasks highly preferred.
- Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and teamwork collaboration.

Pay: $27.00 - $44.00 per hour
