Responsibilities
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair residential HVAC systems, including furnaces, central air conditioning, heat pumps, and ductless systems.
- Perform service calls, identify root causes of equipment failures, and recommend effective repair solutions.
- Complete preventive maintenance, system inspections, and performance evaluations.
- Troubleshoot electrical components, motors, capacitors, controls, refrigerant circuits, airflow issues, and condensate systems.
- Clearly explain findings, repair options, and recommendations to homeowners.
- Prepare accurate estimates and present repair options professionally.
- Identify opportunities for system improvements, indoor air quality upgrades, and equipment replacement when appropriate.
- Complete service reports, document equipment information, and upload job photos through our mobile service platform.
- Maintain accurate parts usage, job notes, and follow-up requirements.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Deliver excellent customer service while representing THS Mechanical professionally.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a residential HVAC service technician.
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills across heating and cooling systems.
- Working knowledge of electrical controls, refrigeration, airflow, and system operation.
- EPA Section 608 certification.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to work independently and manage service calls efficiently.
- Strong communication skills and a professional customer-focused attitude.
- Commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and doing the job right the first time.
