YOUR DAY AS OUR ADVANCED PLUMBING APPRENTICE
In this role, you'll spend your days helping residential customers keep their plumbing systems operating at their best while supporting lead plumbers on a variety of installation, repair, and maintenance projects. You'll diagnose plumbing issues, assist with repairs, install and repair piping, fixtures, water heaters, drains, and related systems, and ensure every task is completed accurately and efficiently. As you move from project to project, you'll maintain a safe and organized work environment, uphold company procedures and plumbing codes, and represent Doug Anderson Plumbing and Heating with professionalism and pride through every customer interaction.
WHAT'S REQUIRED?
- 3+ years of hands-on plumbing experience
- Ability to diagnose common plumbing problems and determine proper repairs
- Ability to complete routine installations and service work with minimal direction
- Strong understanding of plumbing systems and standard industry practices
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Commitment to producing high-quality workmanship
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable transportation
- Dependable attendance
Massachusetts apprentice registration is preferred, along with 4+ years of residential or service plumbing experience. We especially value candidates who can confidently troubleshoot plumbing systems, communicate professionally with customers, manage their workload independently, and identify situations that require licensed plumber involvement.
THE VITAL ROLE YOU HAVE
As our Experienced Apprentice Plumber, you'll start each day ready to tackle a variety of residential plumbing projects, working alongside lead plumbers to help customers solve problems and improve their homes. You'll assist with installations, maintenance, and repairs while diagnosing common plumbing issues and completing assigned work accurately and efficiently. Throughout the day, you will install and repair piping, fixtures, water heaters, drains, and related plumbing systems, ensuring every project meets company standards and plumbing codes.
