As an HVAC Service Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing residential and light commercial heating and cooling systems. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.

Duties
- Diagnose and troubleshoot residential and light commercial heating and cooling systems to identify equipment failures and performance issues.
- Perform HVAC repairs, preventive maintenance, and system inspections to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operation.
- Utilize electrical testing equipment, wiring diagrams, diagnostic tools, and technical knowledge to accurately identify and resolve HVAC system problems.
- Clearly communicate diagnostic findings to customers, explain recommended repairs, and provide honest, professional recommendations regarding their heating and cooling systems.
- Educate customers on proper system operation, routine maintenance, and available solutions to improve comfort and efficiency.
- Complete service calls efficiently while maintaining high standards of workmanship and customer satisfaction.
- Accurately document service findings, repairs performed, and recommendations using company-provided software.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and properly stocked company service vehicle.
- Follow company procedures and all applicable safety standards.
- Work independently and as part of a team while demonstrating professionalism, dependability, and a strong work ethic.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on HVAC service experience required.
- Strong knowledge of residential and light commercial heating and cooling systems, including troubleshooting, diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance.
- Ability to independently diagnose and repair HVAC equipment accurately and efficiently.
- Proficient in reading electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and using diagnostic equipment, including multimeters and other industry-standard tools.
- Solid understanding of HVAC electrical components, refrigeration systems, and mechanical operations.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to professionally explain system issues, repair recommendations, and maintenance needs to customers.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record and the ability to safely operate a company-provided service vehicle.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Dependable, punctual, self-motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Professional appearance, positive attitude, and a strong work ethic.
- Willingness to follow company procedures and maintain high standards of safety and customer satisfaction.
Pay: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 – 50.0 per week
