Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Journeyman Electrician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have strong commercial and industrial electrical experience, with a proven background in 480V switchgear installation. This role requires a high level of technical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities:

· Lead install team

· Order and maintain materials

· Time reporting and cost management

· Forecasting manpower to develop schedules

· Install, maintain, and troubleshoot commercial and industrial electrical systems

· Perform 480V switchgear installation, terminations and testing

· Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and specifications

· Ensure all work complies with NEC codes and local regulations

· Work safely and efficiently on job sites while meeting project deadlines

· Collaborate with project managers, foremen, and other trades as needed

Requirements:

· Valid Journeyman Electrician license

· Valid Driver License and clean driving history

· Demonstrated experience with 480V switchgear installation

· Must be able to read blueprints, schematics and technical diagrams for electrical layouts

· Strong background in commercial and industrial electrical work

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team

· Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

· Reliable transportation and tools
