Overview
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in HVAC systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair. This role specifically focuses on residential and light commercial HVAC applications, requiring a blend of mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience to ensure the optimal performance and efficiency of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
There are SPIFFs and bonus opportunities available for this role, providing the potential to earn above your hourly wage. Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems including air conditioning units, heat pumps, gas furnaces, electric air handlers, refrigeration systems, and other related equipment.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues using schematics and technical manuals to ensure efficient operation.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on HVAC equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Utilize tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment for repairs and installations.
- Collaborate with property maintenance teams to address HVAC-related issues in residential or commercial properties.
- Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repairs or services performed to clients clearly.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including parts used and time spent on each job.
Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience as an HVAC Technician. Specifically with 5 years of service calls, repairs, diagnosing service issues and repairs.
- Proven knowledge in heat pumps, gas furnaces, electric furnaces, A/C systems, A2L, 410A and R22.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in HVAC IAQ, water heater service, repair, and replacement
- Familiarity with HVAC design principles and field service operations is preferred
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints or schematics related to HVAC systems
- Must be comfortable with customer communication. Explaining what service issues you have found and comfortable with upselling any found service issues.

Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour
