Construction Project Manager

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Construction Project Manager to lead utility and infrastructure projects in Liberty, Texas.

This is a field-driven role. You will be responsible for taking projects from planning through final construction. We are looking for someone who is comfortable working on-site, coordinating subcontractors, solving problems in real time, and fully owning project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Lead full project execution from planning and permitting through construction
Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and field crews
Manage project schedules, budgets, and resource planning
Monitor costs, invoices, and procurement
Review engineering drawings and ensure proper implementation
Manage RFIs, submittals, and change orders
Maintain safety, environmental, and quality compliance
Serve as the primary point of contact for site personnel and stakeholders
Oversee site setup, mobilization, and daily field operations

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Minimum 5 years of construction project management experience
Background in utility, energy, infrastructure, or industrial projects preferred
Strong knowledge of construction sequencing and field coordination
Experience managing project budgets and schedules
Proficiency in Procore, Microsoft Project, Excel, and Bluebeam
OSHA 30 Certification (or willingness to obtain)
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites as needed

Preferred Experience

Renewable energy, battery storage, hydrogen, or grid-connected power projects
Experience with Texas permitting and utility coordination
PMP or related certifications
Experience coordinating civil, mechanical, and electrical trades
