Day-O-Lite is seeking a skilled and experienced Sheet Metal Fabricator & Aluminum MIG welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in metal fabrication and welding aluminum, with the ability to produce high-quality parts and assemblies according to precise specifications.· Measure, cut, and shape sheet metal using shears, and saws.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fabricate and assemble sheet metal parts according to blueprints and specifications.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and fabrication machinery (brakes, shears, punches, etc.).
- Perform MIG welding on a variety of metal materials (steel, aluminum, etc.).
- Ensure parts meet quality standards and tolerances.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in sheet metal fabrication and MIG welding.
- Ability to read technical drawings.
- Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment.
- Knowledge of welding techniques.
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and work in a fast-paced environment.
- [Optional] Certification in welding or related field is a plus.
- [Optional] Forklift operation experience is a plus.
