Job Summary

Duties
- Operate lawn care equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and hand tools to maintain lawns and landscaped areas.
- Perform landscape maintenance including edging, pruning, planting, and weed control to ensure pristine outdoor spaces.
- Use power tools and machinery like excavators for larger landscaping projects or site preparation.
- Conduct tree care activities including trimming, pruning, and health assessments to promote tree vitality.
- Install and maintain irrigation systems to ensure optimal watering schedules for various plantings.
- Assist with hardscape projects such as installing pathways, patios, or retaining walls using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Perform seasonal duties like snow plowing during winter months to keep properties accessible and safe.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge of lawn care equipment and power tools for efficient operation and troubleshooting.
- Experience with landscape maintenance, gardening, and horticulture practices to create sustainable outdoor environments.
- Knowledge of tree care techniques including trimming, pruning, and health assessment.
- Ability to operate heavy machinery such as excavators for construction or large-scale landscaping projects.
- Familiarity with irrigation systems installation and maintenance for efficient water management.
- Skilled in using hand tools for detailed gardening tasks and landscape adjustments.
- Good understanding of hardscape construction principles for installing durable outdoor features.
- Excellent physical stamina to perform manual labor outdoors in various weather conditions.
