Work locations: Farmington Hills, Michigan & Commerce, Michigan

SUMMARY:

Work on modifying and fabricating industrial shipping containers used for EV Charging. The work blends electrical, mechanical assembly, and hands‑on welding/fabrication.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Read and follow build sheets, drawings, and work instructions.
Modify, cut, and prepare steel shipping containers for custom builds with the EV space.
Route conduit, mount fixtures, terminate wiring along with other moderate electrical work
Install mechanical components such as framing, brackets, doors, vents, and hardware
Operate shop tools including grinders, saws, drills, and forklifts (training available).
Inspect finished work for accuracy, quality, and safety.
Work with a small team to meet project deadlines and maintain a clean, safe workspace.

COMPETENCIES/REQUIRED SKILLS:

Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort using hand and power tools.
Understanding of electrical systems and routing.
Prior experience welding and metal fabrication
Ability to measure, cut, and work with steel materials.
Problem‑solving mindset and willingness to take on new challenges.
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in a shop/industrial environment.
Reliable, self‑motivated, and able to work independently or with a team.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Associates Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Concentration
More than 3 years of appropriate experience
