Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Precision Grinder (OD/ID) to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating manual and CNC grinding equipment and performing precision machining tasks to repair high-quality aerospace components. Your expertise will ensure that all parts meet strict specifications and quality standards, contributing to our reputation for excellence.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate precision grinding machines, including surface grinders, cylindrical grinders, and other related equipment.
Read and interpret detailed technical data, and specifications to ensure accurate machining processes.
Use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, and gauges to verify dimensions and tolerances.
Perform basic CNC programming and operate CNC, NC and Manual machines
Conduct quality inspections throughout the manufacturing process to detect defects or deviations from specifications.
Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols involving cranes, hand tools, tooling, sheet metal handling, and fabrication equipment.
Collaborate with team members on assembly tasks and support continuous improvement initiatives within the manufacturing process.

Qualifications

Experience in a repair facility is a plus as candidate will be responsible to perform own set ups.

Tool room or machinist experience on grinding machines, this position is not for an operator but a skilled machinist.
