Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Construction Superintendent/Project Manager to lead and oversee construction projects from inception to completion. This role combines hands-on site supervision with strategic project management, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will excel in coordinating teams, managing resources, and maintaining clear communication across all stakeholders. Your expertise will drive project success while fostering a safe, efficient, and collaborative work environment.
Previous experience in the Church/Faith/Non-Profit Sector is a plus.
Projects in excess of $15M are required.
Duties
- Lead and supervise construction sites, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, project schedules, and quality standards.
- Develop detailed project plans using construction management software such as Primavera P6, or similar tools to coordinate schedules, budgets, and resources effectively.
- Oversee daily site activities, manage subcontractors and vendors, and ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, contracts, and technical drawings to guide construction processes accurately.
- Utilize construction estimating techniques to prepare budgets and track project costs throughout the lifecycle.
- Coordinate project activities with clients, architects, engineers, and internal teams to ensure seamless communication and project alignment.
- Monitor project progress through regular site inspections, progress reports, and updates using tools like ProCore or Bluebeam for documentation.
- Manage contract compliance, change orders, and resolve any issues that arise during construction phases.
- Implement project scheduling strategies to optimize workflow while maintaining strict time management standards.
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and industry standards while fostering a culture of safety awareness on-site.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction site management or as a construction superintendent with a strong background in heavy civil or commercial projects.
- Extensive knowledge of construction management software such as Primavera P6, ProCore, Bluebeam or similar platforms.
- Demonstrated expertise in project scheduling, cost estimation, blueprint reading, and contract administration.
- Strong understanding of schematics, technical drawings, and construction schematics for accurate execution.
- Excellent project coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders effectively.
- Prior experience working on large-scale projects requiring detailed planning and resource allocation.
- Exceptional time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently on fast-paced sites.
- Valid certifications in construction safety (such as OSHA) are preferred; familiarity with Primavera P6 or Primavera is highly desirable. Pay: $100,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
