Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman Plumber to join our plumbing team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across various commercial and residential projects. Your expertise in construction plumbing, schematic reading, and mechanical knowledge will ensure the delivery of high-quality work that meets safety standards and client expectations. Duties
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, valves, and drainage in new construction and remodeling projects
- Read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately execute plumbing layouts and mechanical systems
- Operate hand tools, power tools, pipe threading machines, welding equipment, and other construction tools efficiently and safely
- Perform heavy lifting tasks
- Conduct routine maintenance inspections and troubleshoot plumbing issues promptly to minimize downtime
- Follow safety protocols on construction sites including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to building codes
Experience
- Proven experience as a Journeyman Plumber with a strong background in construction plumbing and site work
- Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, and mechanical diagrams for accurate installation and troubleshooting
- Hands-on experience with welding, pipe threading, assembly, remodeling projects, and maintenance tasks
- Ability to operate power tools, hand tools, heavy equipment, and perform carpentry or handyman tasks when required
- Prior field service experience on construction sites or in maintenance environments is highly desirable
