Responsibilities
Assist senior plumbers with the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems on construction sites. Learn to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to understand project requirements. Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding techniques safely and effectively. Support the assembly and remodeling of plumbing fixtures and systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards. Participate in site inspections, troubleshooting, and basic math calculations necessary for accurate measurements and installations. Help maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Gain experience in HVAC systems, pipe fitting, schematics interpretation, and general mechanical knowledge.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or coursework related to construction plumbing is a plus. Strong interest in construction, plumbing, welding, or mechanical trades. Basic understanding of hand tools, power tools, and construction site safety procedures. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams with guidance. Willingness to learn field service techniques including pipe threading and system troubleshooting. Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
