About Us
Mecca Design & Production builds custom tradeshow exhibits, branded environments, and experiential installations for some of the world’s largest brands. Every project is different, and our shop fabricators play a key role in turning design concepts into high-quality physical builds.
What You’ll Do
This is not repetitive or production-line carpentry. Every day brings new projects, new materials, and new challenges. You’ll collaborate with a team of skilled builders to fabricate a wide range of components—walls, displays, scenic elements, product vignettes, custom structures, and more.
Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret detailed fabrication drawings, diagrams, and assembly plans with accuracy
- Build custom components using wood, plywood, MDF, acrylic, laminates, and specialty materials
- Work closely with teammates to coordinate builds, problem-solve, and maintain quality and consistency
- Use pre-cut and CNC-routed parts provided by our fabrication team (you will not operate CNC equipment)
- Assemble, fit, and finish all components to meet high standards and match design intent
- Participate in daily shop coordination, communicating build progress and clarifying questions with project leads
- Assist with prepping, packing, and loading items for shipment to shows or installations
- Maintain a clean, safe, efficient workspace and follow shop safety procedures
- Support load-ins and load-outs during peak seasons (occasional overtime or weekends may be required)

- High attention to detail and commitment to craftsmanship
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
