Our esteemed client in Toledo is in need of a motivated and driven individual to join their engineering and automation team as a Tube Laser Programmer/ SolidWorks Designer. This is a DIRECT HIRE opportunity.
Salary: $75,000-$80,000- depending on experience
Job Description:
- Program, manage, and optimize Tube Laser systems while creating and modifying products using SolidWorks
- Develop custom products and customer-specific designs
- Troubleshoot production and programming issues
- Maintain engineering documentation and drawing revisions
- Coordinate with production personnel to meet manufacturing schedules
Job Requirements:
- Preferred Associates or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
- Previous experience with laser cutting or CNC programming
- Proficiency in SolidWorks and reading mechanical drawings
- Minimum of 2 years of CAD drafting or manufacturing experience preferred
- Familiarity with steel fabrication/sheet metal, Trumpf laser equipment or software
- Ability to use ERP systems
