We are seeking an experienced residential Construction Plumber to join our team. This role focuses exclusively on construction plumbing and is NOT for service plumbers. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with the three key phases of plumbing – soils, top-out, and trim – ensuring high-quality installation and compliance with all applicable codes and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
★ Soils: Initial groundwork for the plumbing system. This includes installing the rough plumbing components beneath the building, such as underground sewer lines and drainage pipes, ensuring proper alignment and slope for effective waste removal (below house slab).
★ Top-Out/Rough In: Involves the installation of plumbing components above the ground. Connect water supply lines, vents, and waste above ground and throughout the house after framing
★ Trim: Final fixture installation, focusing on ensuring proper functionality, appearance, and addressing any remaining issues.
★ Blueprint and Plan Interpretation: Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and construction plans to understand the layout and configuration of utility systems. Follow specifications and ensure accurate installation.
★ Equipment and Tool Maintenance: Maintain and inspect plumbing tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition. Report any equipment malfunctions or deficiencies and coordinate repairs or replacements as needed.
★ Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with other team members, such as construction crews and supervisors, to coordinate work activities and ensure smooth project progression. Work closely with site managers, contractors, and other trades to ensure seamless integration of plumbing systems. Communicate effectively to convey information, receive instructions, and address concerns.
★ Safety and Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols, regulations, and company policies at all times. Use personal protective equipment (PPE) appropriately and promote a safe working environment for yourself and team members. Ensure all installations meet local plumbing codes and safety regulations.
★ Troubleshooting & Repairs: Identify, troubleshoot, and repair any issues encountered during the installation process.
★ Safety & Cleanup: Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and keeping the job site organized.
★ Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of work performed, including completed jobs, materials used, hours worked, and any required inspections or permits. Provide timely reports to supervisors or project managers as required.
★ Continuous Learning: Stay updated on industry trends, advancements in plumbing techniques, and relevant codes and regulations. Attend training programs and seek professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:
✏︎ Experience: Minimum of 3 years as a construction plumber, with proven residential (and commercial) project experience in soils, top out/rough-in AND trim.
✏︎ Specialized Knowledge: Extensive experience in soils, top-out, and trim plumbing phases; NOT service plumbing.

✏︎ Physical Requirements: Ability to perform heavy lifting (50+ pounds), squat, crawl, and work in confined spaces and various outdoor environments.
