Operate milling machines, press brake machines, plasma cutters, and other fabrication equipment to shape and assemble metal parts according to schematics and blueprints
Perform MIG, TIG, FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), and welding techniques with precision to meet ASME codes & standards
Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings for fabrication and assembly projects
Use hand tools, power tools, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments to ensure accuracy and quality control
Conduct rigging, pipe threading, soldering, and assembly tasks on various metal structures including ductwork and sheet metal components
Maintain safety protocols on construction sites or manufacturing floors while operating cranes, forklifts, or other heavy machinery
Assist in mechanical troubleshooting and perform basic math calculations related to measurements and material quantities

Experience

Proven construction site experience or manufacturing background involving metal fabrication or welding projects
Hands-on experience with MIG welding, TIG welding, FCAW welding processes, and welding techniques
Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and technical drawings
Ability to operate power tools such as press brakes, plasma cutters, hand tools, and machining equipment effectively
Knowledge of ASME codes & standards relevant to welding and fabrication practices
Experience with rigging operations, pipe threading, ductwork installation or assembly is a plus
Strong mechanical knowledge combined with basic math skills for precise measurements and calculations
