Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot electrical, refrigeration, airflow, and control system issues.
- Diagnosing HVAC system malfunctions and performance issues.
- Perform repairs on furnaces, boilers, heat pumps, air conditioners, mini-splits, air handlers, and related equipment.
- Complete preventive maintenance and tune-ups.
- Perform warranty repairs and service work.
- Document diagnostic findings and repair recommendations.
- Install HVAC equipment according to manufacturer specifications and company standards.
- Replace furnaces, boilers, air conditioners, heat pumps, mini-splits, and IAQ equipment.
- Install refrigerant piping, ductwork, venting, controls, and accessories.
- Start up and commission newly installed systems.
- Verify proper operation and system performance.
- Complete installation documentation and quality checklists.
- Present repair and replacement options when appropriate with problem solving.
- Resolve customer concerns with the ability to explain technical information clearly.
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
- Maintain EPA certification requirements.
- Comply with applicable mechanical, fuel gas, and building codes.
- Maintain clean and organized work vehicles.
- Properly handle refrigerants and hazardous materials.
- Complete service tickets and job documentation accurately
- Maintain truck inventory, tools, and material accountability.
Qualifications:
- At least three 3+ years HVAC service and/or installation experience preferred.
- HVAC diagnostic and troubleshooting expertise.
- Installation and replacement experience.
- Electrical and controls knowledge.
- Refrigeration system knowledge.
- Airflow and duct system knowledge.
- Boiler and hydronic system experience preferred.
- HVAC trade school preferred.
- EPA Certification required.
- NATE Certification is preferred.
- Valid driver's license required.
Hours are:
Monday through Friday – first shift
The pay is up to $45.00 an hour based on experience
Pay: Up to $45.00 per hour
