Overview
We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in welding and fabrication, with the ability to work with various materials and follow precise specifications. This role is essential in ensuring the production of high-quality components and assemblies that meet our rigorous standards.

Duties

Fabricate and weld metal components according to engineering specifications and blueprints.
Operate welding equipment, including FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding) and Stick welding techniques.
Perform machining tasks as needed to ensure precise dimensions and fit of parts.
Utilize basic math skills to calculate measurements, angles, and material requirements.
Read and interpret schematics, drawings, and technical documents to guide fabrication processes.
Conduct inspections of finished products to ensure quality standards are met.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following all safety protocols.
Operate forklifts for material handling when necessary.

Qualifications

Proven experience in welding and fabrication, with knowledge of various welding techniques.
Familiarity with sheet metal work is preferred.
Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
Ability to read and understand technical schematics and blueprints.
Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations.
Experience with soldering is a plus.
Forklift certification is advantageous but not required; training may be provided.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
