We are growing and seeking an experienced and skilled HVAC Installer to join our dynamic team at Weathervane Home Services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC systems and a passion for providing high-quality service. As an HVAC Installer, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential and commercial properties. Your expertise will ensure that our clients enjoy optimal comfort and energy efficiency in their spaces.
Responsibilities
- Install ducted and ductless heat pump systems according to specifications and safety standards.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with heating and cooling systems.
- Collaborate with team members to design efficient HVAC solutions tailored to client needs.
- Ensure all installations comply with local building codes and regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service reports and inventory.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding system operation and maintenance.
Skills
- Proficient in HVAC installation techniques and refrigerant handling.
- Strong knowledge of property maintenance practices related to HVAC systems.
- Ability to build, weld, and maintain various HVAC components.
- Strong duct work knowledge is a plus.
- Experience with servicing and hands-on troubleshooting skills.
- Valid driver's license with the ability to operate a van for job site travel.
- Familiarity with HVAC system design principles is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills for effective client interaction.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience installing ductless and/or ducted systems (slim duct, mid-static, etc)
- Able to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen

Physical Requirements
- Ability to work in a field environment with frequent travel between job sites throughout the day.
- Ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods of time (up to 8–10 hours per day).
- Ability to lift and carry materials and equipment up to 50 pounds, occasionally more with assistance.
- Comfortable climbing ladders, accessing attics, basements, and crawl spaces.
- Ability to work in varying environmental conditions, including heat, cold, dust, and confined spaces.
- Ability to safely navigate active construction and job site environments.
- Manual dexterity to use tools, mobile devices, and inspection equipment.
- Ability to bend, kneel, crouch, and reach as needed to perform inspections and job site evaluations.
- Ability to drive a company vehicle and maintain a valid driver’s license.

Pay: $1,500.00 - $3,000.00 per week
