Duties
- Perform finish carpentry tasks such as installation of trim, molding, and baseboards
- Repair and restore damaged woodwork, including cabinets, doors, and windows
- Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure proper installation and finishing of carpentry projects
- Use hand tools and power tools to cut, shape, and assemble wood materials
- Measure and mark materials for accurate cutting and fitting
- Ensure all work is completed according to blueprints, specifications, and building codes
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Qualifications
- Experience in the restoration industry is preferred
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools commonly used in carpentry work
- Familiarity with mold remediation techniques and procedures
- Strong skills in trim carpentry, including the ability to plumb walls and install stucco finishes
- Experience in construction painting for finishing touches on woodwork
- Ability to restore damaged or worn-out wood surfaces to their original condition
- Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship
